Good things come to those who wait...

We've been going on lots of walks because old wives say it helps

 If you're wondering whether I'm posting this from outside mum's tummy, I'm not and frankly you will all just have to be patient, these things can't be rushed.

I'm still doing lots of important things in here, like making sure I'm extra big and healthy so mum and dad will want to cuddle me all day. Plus, the longer I make you wait, the greater the anticipation and excitment will be when I finally do arrive.

I think mum and dad are feeling the most impatient now though. Mum has EVERYTHING prepared for my arrival and she has cleaned the house about five times in the past fortnight, just in case. Dad thought he wouldn't be working this week, so I think he's pretty eager for me to come now too, especially as there is a Man United game on Saturday and he was hoping the two of us could watch it together.

My nana is staying with us at the moment because she really wants to meet me aswell. She said a very wise thing to mum yesterday. She said that she thought I'm probably so cosy and well-looked after in here that I wont really want to leave. Which is kind of true. I promise I will come out though and not just because I have to, but because I really do want to meet you all. 

I think mum just hopes that I will come soon so the doctors don't try to force me out with medicine, which I don't want either because that would come as quite a shock I think. Kind of like someone pouring ice cold water on you when your mid-dream, tucked up in bed, which wouldn't be very nice would it?

Well, people do say that you can learn a lot from your children, so I guess our lesson for the day is about the virtue of patience. Hang in there mum and dad, I'll be with you soon enough.
