Bye bye bear, hello Harry

Happy family of three

Well, I'm finally here and what a journey it was for me and mum. I made my appearance on 14th October at 6.15pm. After 24 hours of me refusing to come out the doctor decided it would be safest to open mum's tummy and get me out himself. I was not happy about this decision and let every know about it by screaming the place down and kicking the doctor furiously as he pulled me out.

Mum was also hoping for a natural delivery too but she was so tired at this point and so eager to meet me safe and well that she agreed that it was for the best. And safe and well I was! I lived up to expectations, weighing nearly ten pounds. The nurses couldn't believe how big I was and kept commenting on how tall I am too. Dad was well proud.

Me kicking up a storm when they took me from mum
So much has happened in my first two weeks of life, I just don't know where to begin and frankly right now I don't have the time to share either. There's a serving of milk with my name on it and if I want to fit in my 12 feeds per day (more if I'm lucky) then I need to hop to it.

For now I just wanted to say hello and inform you all that soon this blog will no longer be titled Arthur Bear. Mum and dad decided to call me Harry Charles Crocker in the end, I wasn't sure at first but now people keep saying "handsome Harry" so I'm pretty chuffed after all.

I'll be back soon when I decide I need to eat and sleep and keep mum and dad up all night less.
Bye for now, love Harry x

Here I am relaxing in my bouncy chair.
